Cold (non-thermal) plasma-enhanced peroxide
Plasma can be made in two ways: with heat or by energizing electrons. The latter, cold (non-thermal) plasma, is much more effective than thermal plasma in the destruction of microorganisms, organic compounds, and hazardous wastes. The accelerated activity of cold plasma-enhanced peroxide is the outcome of a unique synergy between hydrogen peroxide, a blend of ions, superoxides, oxygen derivatives, and synergistic surfactants.
The ionic charge of this unique synergy increases the microbicidal activity by disrupting the cellular membrane, inhibiting the activities, and denaturing cellular proteins. This process results in the subsequent disruption of the cellular structure and functions and will not allow for the resistance development of microorganisms. After microbicidal activity, the whole product decomposes into water and oxygen, leaving no residues or traces on the surfaces but also having no impact on the environment.
